Theme Info!

We had a small voting mishap this round; please be sure to only vote once. Correcting the vote, October's theme will be Flip the Chessboard:

Characters are now the opposite of what they usually are. Lawful Evil becomes Chaotic Good, male becomes female, slouch becomes hard worker, hero becomes villain. The choice of what kind of trait is flipped is up to the mun, of course. Remember this can flip any type of trait, not only alignment.

Questions can be directed to the first subthread. This post can also be used for theme plotting. And as always, new theme suggestions are accepted here.

Please also be sure to post to the Activity Check! AC ends tomorrow, October 1.

Mmmm...you've already said before that she's already passionate... Maybe instead of focusing on what would make her fiery, look at what would make her less of a water-type? IF THAT MAKES ANY SENSE

Hmmm. Let's say she'd always been fire, rather than water.

Her offensive powers would have been stronger, making her more confident in them instead of feeling herself to be the weak one. (But thanks to the typical Evil Power-Up(TM) she already kind of has that, too.)

She'd be more brash and likely to act without thinking, rather than constantly over-thinking and analyzing things. That could be usable somehow.

...Hah. And now you've given me another idea for an avenue to explore with Axel, rather than him just being more 'cold.'

He's pretty impulsive right now- he likes action ectect- but instead, he could be more like Ami with the over-thinking/analyzing!

More of a rational, less cocky Axel fits in with the water/fire= defensive/offensive thing. /SPINS WITH

So I kind of have this bizarre AU thing for Zack I'd like to test-run in a game? Being a hero-type, he would become the villian in this case. And since he's right around the Nibelheim canon point by now anyway, I think this feels appropriate.

So, in canon, the Jenova cells never had any real effect on him because he was already a SOLDIER to begin with. Aside from a little weakness in the labs, he was just fine.

BUT. To fit with the villain-theme, what if they did? In the dream, he would be... pretty much crazy, power-hungry, and this is pending the muns involved, but able to infect others with the same virus. Zack, in any sense, would become the new Sephiroth, and be the master of his own world.

Of course, this is very open to plotting and adjustments, so suggestions welcome!

Mao: HERO. And not just because he stole Almaz's title, either. He's going to be the typical shonen hero protagonist. I'm leaning towards him being less book-smart, though with more common sense. And kind of...being a delinquent, too. He'll nuke me for this, I'm sure.

Laharl: From tsun-tsun to dere-dere. Hope you like your typically brash and totally evil Overlord actually being nice and not denying it for once. He's also more receptive towards love and could...probably rival Flonne when it comes to RABU RABU PIISU PIISU.

Whitlea: So you know how Whitlea's usually the ray of sunshine, right?

...who wants to meet a cynical, broken Whitlea? I'm going with the idea that Team Plasma's acts got to her, cracking her idealistic viewpoint little by little until it finally broke. I'm thinking killing off one of her Pokemon.

Clearly I am horrible towards my sweeter, more well-adjusted muses.
