So I kind of have this bizarre AU thing for Zack I'd like to test-run in a game? Being a hero-type, he would become the villian in this case. And since he's right around the Nibelheim canon point by now anyway, I think this feels appropriate.

So, in canon, the Jenova cells never had any real effect on him because he was already a SOLDIER to begin with. Aside from a little weakness in the labs, he was just fine.

BUT. To fit with the villain-theme, what if they did? In the dream, he would be... pretty much crazy, power-hungry, and this is pending the muns involved, but able to infect others with the same virus. Zack, in any sense, would become the new Sephiroth, and be the master of his own world.

Of course, this is very open to plotting and adjustments, so suggestions welcome!
