I've taken a look at the votes, read through the comments, and taken some considerable time to weigh in on this matter. I've also been watching other communities and how they handle things and how moving goes for them. Through mod discussion, we've come to the decision that a move to DreamWidth.org is the best choice for the community right now.

What this means for everyone here!

POSTING opens up tonight at DW! You can make new posts to the new community starting tonight!
IMPORTING will be happening at the end of the month

Posting: first things first. Before you post you must comment to the taken page located here. It asks for you LJ USERNAME and your DW USERNAME. It also requests a DW info post that is entirely optional. Info links will still link back to your lj posts if you haven't deleted them/locked them/whatever. If you have, please give us a new info post asap. NOTE: accounts will not be accepted until you comment so we know who is who! especially if your name has changed

Importing: Already tags have been imported for convenience, but posts will not be imported until February 1st. This means the comms here will be open until January 31st to finish anything you have currently on-going before I lock the communities and make them view-only. However, if January 31st comes and you have not finished everything please inform a mod and we will leave the communities open awhile longer.

Activity Check this will server as our AC! You comment, you passed! After all the trouble, we don't feel like putting you guys through hoops after this whole debacle to stay in the game. However, if you do not feel like moving over or staying in the game I do ask that you comment to this post as well with a 'DROP' in the subject for our records.



We sincerely hope that this decision satisfies everyone and that people are happy with the move! Please, if you have any troubles, questions, comments, concerns, leave them in a comment below or pm a mod or im one of us if necessary. Even if you are just confused about using DreamWidth. I would like to help each and every one of you with this transition and make it as easy as possible.
