April Theme
And the winner for April is... Don't Wake Me Up! /the crowd goes wild yeahhhh
Okay uh, the description provided for this is as follows: "A perfect dream. Everything conspires to bring contentment and happiness: seemingly better relationships, jobs, living accommodations, whatever. The catch is, staying too long will be deadly in one form or another."
If you'd like to ignore that catch at the end, feel free to. I'd also like to encourage people to plot out specific dream scenarios and have the "guest" characters in the dream be buying into it. For example, if character A lost the love of their life in a tragic accident long ago, their perfect dream might consist of being reunited with them and living a happy life. Having the people tagging into the post be that long lost love could be an interesting option.
Obviously there's a lot of possibilities here. As usual, use this post to ask questions or plot things out. B) Stay classy.

:|a lol Tomoe is going to remain in her happy little "oh no I totally didn't just destroy everything I ever cared about and DIED" world for a bit longer.
XD anyone want to join in to her perfect little 19th century suburbia dream? Could be the husband, the brother, the father (who she obviously would have gotten back into contact with because everything is happy in this dream!) hell, even the village kids from Otsu! *sob* I want babies, but I'll refrain...
Ok, I should contemplate this stuff when i'm not passing out XD

He has a huge thing with family so anything like that would play into his "perfect dream" thing, too. And I'd love to get to play him buying into a dream instead of being all knowledgeable tour guide.

lol I can't brain atm, don't mind me--and I really am passing out SO I SHALL TALK MORE AFTER WORK TOMORROW!

this is what I get for taking months to canon reviewMinato was about 18 when he died, and he's been dead a couple years. He's quiet, blunt, loyal, and a bit of a derp. He tends to try to befriend every single person he comes across. If it weren't impossible age wise, I'd suggest her as his mother, but that's just really cruel of me besides. LOL
So, brother maybe? He'd be fun to play as a younger brother. He doesn't work well as Enishi, though-- he isn't the revenge type at all. He's very practical and compassionate and understanding. XD But we could just ignore that and write it in... anyway, since this is Tomoe's ~perfect life.
Edit: OH AND SLEEP WELL AND HAVE NOT-STRESSFUL WORK FFFFF <33
no subject
But mother/sister totally works since for Tomoe sister=mother for the most part *sob* she took on the role of 'mom' at age 9 so... :/
SO I SAY THIS WORKS and maybe go with the borked memory so that she just thinks he's her brother regardless of whether he's supposed to specifically be Enishi.
And hmmm... I didn't think about the "bad end"... what do you think? :|a lol for her it could be as simple as bursting her "oh ha ha ur ded" bubble, or... just... destroy the perfect dream life a la her real life experiences or something idk
no subject
As for the bad end, if you want to play into Minato's fears it could be him dying again. Something with that, I guess? :|a idk, I'm not dead set on even having a bad end, hahaha. It's up to you.

so WOOT!

\o.O/
Also *HUGS* I feel bad that she got all 'sdlgaksd;jg >8U GO AWAY' in the other thread ;; /being silly
no subject
this is totally still Tomoe, shush
XD I need to figure out Tomoe's bad end for this month then. Either 1) she can just have her 'oops ur dead' bubble finally burst or 2) could just have... D| actual history repeat itself somehow or something idk
lol part of me wants to just keep her in denial, but the other part of me is all "I WANT TO WRITE THIS OOOOOOUT 8DDD" lol I was literally sitting here staring at the screen going "remember... or force out... remember... or force out... remember... or force out..." for like... 20 minutes in that thread XDDDD

Canon deaths. So conflicting.
/haha
This is the first time I've played TOmoe not remembering for a long period of time. I have had her do the delayed reaction thing where it takes her a bit before the memories just go WHOOOOSH, but it's always within the first hour or so of waking in a setting. (That's what I did with Amat and Micro)

Anyway, Ami will probably be stuck in the Silver Millenium (her past-life's perfect kingdom of peace) for at least a post. General people to fit into the Grecian-esque paradise would be awesome, though visitors will be welcome, too.
(Edit: For example, if someone wanted to be her pupil, as she used to be in charge of lessons. Also for this one if I do it, I would like something to shake her out of the dream - even as simple as someone being out of place starting to tear down the perfection. So if anyone wants to be the fly in the ointment, we can work out exactly how since it could be anything from 'this person just doesn't fit in this setting' to someone actively causing trouble.)
If I do something with her modern life, she would LOVE a normal family life. Her parents split up when she was young, and having her Father around finally would be a dream come true (ha ha). She's always wanted siblings, too; she has none in reality in canon but one or some could be fabricated.

Long answer: In flashbacks in manga where Serenity sneaks off to Earth and the senshi yell at her for it, Mercury's the one who's all 'you have so much to study right here!!' so a lot of people fanon her into the Serenity's tutor. This theme just seems a fun time to expand that.
Game answer: Mostly academics - anything from basic reading and writing to fairly difficult math or science to languages (which may or may not be relevant). Is there something specific you'd like Aerith to get a lecture in? >D
p.s. I'm tempted to suggest Mercury should be a 'trusted friend' for Aerith mostly due to the irony since Aerith doesn't quite trust her. XD Thoughts?
Edit: Should probably mention that while it's true she does 'everything' and has 'no bad subject', her top subject is Math. If that's relevant/helpful. XD
no subject
Also A-OK with Mercury / Ami being the "trusted friend". Although which form she's in will make a difference, Aerith does trust "Mercury" from their first dream. ...Actually it'd be kind of funny if the trust went both ways and Aerith found out Ami IS Mercury, but ... not sure if that would even work in the dream's context.
no subject
Actually, you mentioned Aerith's bad ending... and Trusted Friend would definitely try to help her/save her during that if applicable. SO Aerith might see her transform from the Ami/princess look to Mercury/soldier look after all? Since it's dreams, I'm not being 100% cautious of the identity.
You have no idea how happy this makes me, btw. Because I really want this chick to start... learning friendship things again. This will help, trusting and being trusted.
no subject
Haha, Aerith is both... bad and great at friendship things. Great because she's nice and forgiving about a lot of things. Bad because she trusts some people but even then not all the way. Even with it being dreaming I'm not sure how much for her to let on about certain things just because she'd rather not talk about them. XD
Sorry if the doctor thread felt short, it didn't seem like something she'd let herself stay in long. I actually couldn't figure out a tag at all at first because of it and then I finally thought of using Elmyra as a reason for her to play nice.
no subject
Ami as her former self did everything for Usagi, always right by her side, did her most impressive things ever when it was to save Usagi, etc. I'm thinking it'll be like that for this plot with Aerith. (And considering the guy who brainwashed her had the reputation in the past life as the 'most loyal soldier' of the prince he's now sworn to kill for vengeance, I'm thinking it's not coincidence; I'm thinking the PGSM writers liked making the most loyal ones suffer and fall.)
The problem with PGSM was she may have been that loyal but she was not trusting. From the start she doubted Usagi's motives, whether the other girls were really friends, whether they'd help her when she needed it, etc. :| Dark Mercury, as with any dark magical girl arc, did not help this. She needs to learn some level of trust (again?). So this will be awesome.
The doctor thread was fine! I had fun with it. It actually made me smile a couple times.
no subject
That does sound interesting! In Aerith's case it's not doubting motives (not of friends, anyway) but another Aerith player said it really well, the people who could get her out of harm's way won't, and the people who want to can't. She wouldn't doubt a friend's intentions if they made a promise, but she wouldn't rely on the promise. I was actually thinking of playing with loyalty / trust issues if she went a AU route, but that will be way off in months to come if she does. And who knows, maybe Passing will push her to develop a different way. ... Ami transforming and dying would kind of push trust issues both ways since she'd trust Ami more, but the dying reinforces that getting people involved in her problems can get them hurt which is a big no.
Though that might not affect Passing as much since it's all dreams anyway. I think it'd actually be pretty interesting if we got some characters who are able to travel space / dimensions and have people start finding each other through the dreams but haha, that would probably be change the game an awful lot.
no subject
I think mods have said eventually there may be possibilities for cross-world meetups, which is cool. Ami, after the game I had her at originally, actually comes from awhile at a dressing room where everything is based on travel between worlds; it can get freaky. I think even more so at Passing, because of all the "oh. dreams." buildup suddenly coming into waking life.
no subject
It sounded like an event type thing? But yeah, even as an event it'd be fun.
no subject
And yeah, I love that Passing is dreams because it gives that tiny bit of distance from things. But I'd also love any chance I get to sort of blend the dreams and waking world and have that moment of 'crap was that really just a dream? o_O'; even just as an event, meeting in the waking world will rock.
Edit: And I just had either a horrible or hilarious idea, tell me which. If Aerith nudges a Princess Mercury/Silver Millenium post as someone she tutors... Sailor/Princess Gaia, anyone? >_>
no subject
This is already going to be a little weird since Aerith is... well. 22. haha. But maybe just for the dream she'll be under the impression she's younger so it's not so weird for her to be in a class.
no subject
And Serenity totally shares Aerith's view, which is why she tries to get out of it so often, sob.Haaa. Yeah, can play with ages, or anything to make it make sense, really. It's the beauty of dreams.

:D
:D
Along with that, Aerith has been yearning to get out of Midgar for a loooong time So I guess her dream scenario would be living somewhere out in countryside, where it's pretty and plenty of flowers grow. The tech would be somewhat simple--they do have phones and all, but Aerith's against mako energy which is the primary energy source so... yes. Basically idyllic simple country life.
Three possible roles!
1) Her first love. You're alive! She is so happy to see you alive that she will wipe out the fact that it's been five years and treat it like you've been gone on a very long mission. (Or your character can come up with some soap-opera-esque explanation of why he was gone five years...)
2) Her mom. Yes, Aerith is still living with her.
3) A trusted friend. Maybe more-than-friend. Maybe you've lived there forever, maybe you got there around the same time she did, but you bonded very well. Aerith's kind of lonely.
BAD END: Shinra tracks Aerith down and recaptures her. MAY INVOLVE SHOOTINGS AND DEATH. If you want to avoid the bad end that's okay, but I'd really like to play it out at least once.

pffff Tomoe acts like she's 30... it works*no subject

LOLOL the funniest thing? I've tricked her CR AND the players with her. I seriously had someone in Micro in a CR meme be all "I'm happy he's got someone around his own age, I feel bad that he's surrounded by teenagers" (the pup in question was like... 33) and I was all "UM. ACTUALLY. |D she's only 19..."
Me: *lols forever*

Lilith Sahl: His beautiful and kind older "sister". She's something of a mother figure to the entire group.
Abel Nightroad: Cain's twin brother. He is violent and hateful little thing. :(
It doesn't really matter if your character will fit perfectly. The point is Cain will love and cuddle them forever. ;; The bad end will be the UNASF or United Nation Aerospace Forces will recapture them at the end and experiment on them.
Elektra Natchios: Her ideal dream is to be reunited with her parents again. They died in horrible, violent ways in front of her. Yeah. Roles up for this are her father or mother. You can also get on this being a close friend of hers she may have left behind after the death of her father.
Bad end would be them dying, her remembering they are dead, or Elektra having to run away to avoid the Hand.
I'm open for suggestions with both of them if you know the canons or just have suggestions.
For Cain (and Seth?)
I say 'kind of' because I don't know the canon, so I'm not sure how well I'd fit in (though I could glance at a bit of it, or just roll with letting the dream smooth away the differences); and because I always picture her as a younger sister type when I ponder family things for her (but she's pretty mature and responsible, and 19 now, so older could work).
So basically: How does that sound? Workable for what you'd like to get from this? (Edit: And since it involves Seth, any input/thoughts on this from the Seth-mun?)
Re: For Cain (and Seth?)
Re: For Cain (and Seth?)
The entire point of Ami's past-life was protecting humans and overseeing the evolution of Earth, so it fits that this Lilith-Ami would still have that sense/drive to her. (Though ironically, RP-Ami has only relatively recently stopped looking down on humans thanks to the Dark Kingdoma arrogance.) Anyway, tl;dr: I am super excited now. ♥
What I came to say originally though! Anything you want to plan or do, I'm totally up for, and I'm always willing to make adjustments, especially with something like this since I'm sort of here to play into your character fantasy with this. You can always PM or IM me or grab me here.
Edit: clarified. Also, found Trinity Blood manga online and will be busily reading. <3

First living through his past life as the one and only Dokuganryū, which would be epic, hilarious, and a ton of fun, considering the original canon.
Secondly, I suppose it could be plausible for him to possibly be living as if his parents weren't either absent from his life (hi Terumune) or just ignoring him as if he were some sort of freak/favoring his younger brother Kojirou (YOSHIHIME o999999). That one might be harder to pull off and might need to think about so it makes more sense.
EITHER WAY. With the first one, people can be either Masa's allies or enemies, so we have options to explore there. There are a ton of slots you can fill in for that one, so it's definitely a pretty open idea. Bad end I suppose would be Masamune dying in battle. Pretty simple.
As for the family one, all positions are definitely open, and you can definitely try to pass off being his parents, little bro, or hell, even Kojuro and be like a big bro to him. His bad end would involve abandonment from everyone or some sort of gang-related incident escalating into violence. (HI HISTORICAL CONTEXT.)
