Thank you for everyone's input and votes! The results of the polls are in, with corresponding changes to the community:
Activity Check: AC will be lessened to a check-in comment each time, without any amount requirement.
Applications: The application process will be kept as-is.
Added Facets: Unfortunately, not everything that garnered high interest could be added, due to time and amount of work constraints. The top two are being implemented:
- Exploration: There will be optional log posts each month exploring suggested dream worlds, both based in various canons and original. They will be voted on at the same time as monthly themes. Items gained here will remain with the character for a time, but fade awhile after waking. Exploration will not affect how themes are handled. Recommendations can be placed here, and we'll begin when we have at least 5.
- Waking dreams: Characters may have waking dreams: the impression that they are still going about their waking life, while still experiencing the presence of elements of dreams. In effect, it may seem similar to hallucinations, or the dreams simply intruding more upon waking life. It also allows characters entering waking dreams to interact with the original dreamer's world, albeit non-physically (similar to a poltergeist). These will go in the usual comm, but there will be a tag for them.
