So I forgot to put this up earlier in the week. I'm going to be on hiatus/am sorta basically already on it. I have to do a lot of running around to try and get life settled so my free-time is a lot more random ~~and filled with Dragon Age 2 goodness~~. Sorry for forgetting to do this earlier and I will get to tags today and hopefully manage to stick around long enough to thread. Also, if I forget a thread feel free to spam me and remind me to tag.

Ahahaha that's what I've been doing while I was sick - playing DA2. I just finished it like an hour ago, actually. :3 It was amaaaazing and I'm really tempted to play someone from it here, ngl.

GOD YES WASN'T IT AWESOME? I have my gripes with the mechanics, but it's basically what I expected from a BioWare game. :> asd;lkjguh seriously?? I can't decide who I'd want to play, hahaha. We should enable each other! I'm tempted to play a Hawke, but I know people that play the Warden get kind of a bad rep so it makes me nervous. <__<

I just...keysmash over it. I mean WHAT THE HELL ANDERS WHY WOULD YOU EVER DO THAT?! What happened to love and trust you son of a-/sobs I can't decide either though. And I understand that fear. Of course the personality for Hawke can be a little more set-in-stone then it was the the Wardens. Plus they have a good default appearance.

There were definitely a few moments where I was like, WAS THIS A DREAM?? Like at the end of Merrill's last quest [highlight for spoilers] when you can choose to kill the Keeper and then like, kill the rest of her clan. I was so WTF!! about that, LOL, like, did that really just happen?! ANYWAY, I had that moment with Anders, too. I knew the second he asked me to look the other way that it was not going to end well. :|;;

But yes, I seriously can't decide. :T I'm tempted to play a neutral good oriented female mage Hawke, who tried not to side with anyone but eventually came down on the wide of the other mages based on her family history and experiences. I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR FAMILY, THOUGH. THAT WAS ANOTHER MOMENT.

YES. That was horrible. I just stared at the screen thinking "Oh Maker please let this be a dream. Or just...noooooo" Also yeah. All those lines from him gave off bad vibes from Denerim to Val Royeaux.

Yeahhhh I got a little teary about Leandra, not gonna lie. :T It was just that, after losing your sibling in the Deep Roads, and. as;ljkfuhg it was a lot. Though apparently if you have Anders in your party along with your sibling, they just become a Grey Warden, so I think I'll do that on this play through. Gamlen finding his surprise daughter was like the one bright spot on the entire family in my first play through. XD

OKAY GOOD. You've made me... seriously consider playing female apostate Hawke, LOL. I do love the default face for her though, I thought it was gorgeous, so if I do I'll take fifteen screencaps of that and make my own icon set. Since I would be VERY SHOCKED if anyone has actually iconned it lmao.

EDIT TO ADD: The Sam Flynn player said she'd app Alistair homg!! as;dlkjfuhg I'm going to have a heart attack if we get an actual cast out of this!

I made Carver stay behind, but that's because he's a tit and always getting into a fight with my f!Hawke. Wait I didn't get that. I got him commenting that I'm just like my mother but I didn't know that was possible. What the hell self.

Actually the dragon age icons comm has a dozen default Hawke icons for all the classes. It's pretty awesome not going to lie.

CAN DO. I didn't like him until the ending where he decided to help out older sis and not be a tit. Though some of the conversations he has with the party makes it better. I guess I'm eternally on the edge with him.

Why not? Either him or Morrigan because I like playing snarky people. Plus, timeline shenanigans! Also that was one of my favorite banter lines of his. Aside from every conversation he has with Oghren and hitting on Velanna.

I'll have to replay and do things differently and see how it turns out. :3 I like what I've seen of Bethany a lot though, I love that she stays with you instead of Carver if you're not a mage.

I selfishly vote for Anders, then. |D Though I'd have to go over with you what we're doing with him and Hawke - I'm pretty flexible on that, whatever you'd like to do would be fine with me! And yes, Anders and Oghren was... an entirety of amazing.

So far on my second little rouge play-through things are certainly interesting. It's nice to have people stop calling me a apostate. Finally. Because geez that gets tiring.

Haha, my second playthrough is as a rogue, too! We have the same exact playing style. I liked getting called an apostate - seeing them carry through player choices like that amused me a lot. XD

The way I played it was that she was in love with him, and did side with the mages, but felt morally conflicted because Anders is so crazypants about his goals. XD But I did have her let him live at the end and then they went off together and traveled as fugitives, since she... didn't have any family left to tie her to Kirkwall, anyway. LOL

I've seen an Oghren on dear_mun before but I've never seen one stick around. :( It's sad.

Ladada ignore the journal any ways. It seems we do! But like you said, it's kind of fun getting called an apostate. Especially when you run across Templars.

Hello me. That's what I did too. I mean I get where Anders is coming from somewhat. And honestly that whole event ties into a few of the banter discussions from DA:A so...I think I blame Justice a little more then Anders. Just a little.

It is very sad! Maybe people fear playing his awesomeness wrong.
